About Me

Hello there!

I’m Savanna, my pronouns are she/her/hers.

I originally entered this field as a client navigating my own healing journey, working through residual effects of childhood and religious trauma. In some ways, I fell into being a therapist and it has been the most fulfilling and life-giving fit. In and out of the office, I enjoy being a safe space for everyone, where all feelings are accepted. I especially enjoy being part of a safe and loving home for my two cats, whom I’m obsessed with, and my spectacular husband. I spend my free time either hanging out with them, dancing, or reading comic books.

Inclusivity is a major value of mine! I am an anti-racist, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, and sex positive therapist. I am a believer that therapy cannot combat the struggles inflicted on folks within a capitalist system. Additionally, I bring my personal experience as a neurodivergent person into my practice. My office is organized with things like free designated parking, fidgets readily available for use, and sensory-friendly lighting when necessary. Creating a space where everyone feels safe and supported is very important to me.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) currently located in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina (license # C014446). I offer both in person and virtual therapy for North Carolina residents.
