"Nevertheless I long—I pine, all my days—to travel home and see the dawn of my return."

— Odysseus

Welcome!

Glad you’re here. I’m Savanna Sweeting, a trauma informed, EMDR trained, neurodivergent friendly licensed clinical social worker currently located in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. If you’re wrestling with religious trauma, feeling like your inner critic has taken up permanent residence, or always putting everyone else’s needs before your own, I’m here to help.

Maybe you often feel out of place, like you’re a burden, or you're just tired of trying to please everyone around you. I want to help you break free from self-doubt and the fear of being “too much.”I specialize in helping folks stuck in self-critical spirals, longing for family connections yet unsure how to set healthy boundaries (and feeling guilty for not returning that phone call to that one family member). If you’re tired of replaying the same old patterns in new relationships, let’s work together to break the cycle. My approach combines empathy, a dash of humor, and creative techniques to help you navigate these challenges and start living a more balanced, self-compassionate life.

Ready to take the first step?

I offer a free 15-minute consult call where we can get to know each other, discuss your needs, and see if we're a good fit to work together. It's a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you have and for us to make sure my approach aligns with what you're looking for.
